Granite Bay High School Substance Use Survey -- Details of Cumulative Results

The Granite Bay High School Substance Use Survey was conducted in April of 2009.  It surveyed the experience of 913 Granite Bay High School students, divided roughly evenly between all grade levels.  The generous participation by each of these students was very helpful in understanding local issues and is very much appreciated.  Thank you Granite Bay students.

For reference, please note that the detailed data below represents the complete data set (except where specifically noted otherwise).  These results average all four grade levels together.  However, be aware that underlying the average there is a persistent trend of increasing use throughout the high school years.  This trend can be seen in the charts above for alcohol and drug use, and this trend persists throughout the survey data.  In other words, for any given question, usage by freshmen will be somewhat below the average, usage by seniors will be somewhat above, and so on.
