About
Citizens Advocating Safe & Healthy Youth supports the Granite Bay High School Community, in Granite Bay and Roseville, California

Our Mission is to advocate a Safe & Healthy, substance-free journey to adulthood for every youth in our community.

About

Vision

A Safe and Healthy community free of illegal use and abuse of alcohol and other drugs.

Mission

To help every youth in our community enjoy a Safe, Healthy, and substance-free journey to adulthood by raising awareness of the dangers of drug and alcohol use by minors.

Scope

The Granite Bay High School community including Cavitt and Olympus Middle Schools

History

CASHY was formed in July 2007 to help raise awareness and educate parents about the pressures and dangers our kids face today that involve the use of drugs and alcohol.  A large body of evidence demonstrates that underage drinking and drug use is dangerous for our children.  We are focused primarily on raising awareness within the community, in addition to supporting substance abuse prevention programs in close cooperation with the Coalition for Placer Youth. CASHY is comprised of parents, students, health care experts and local law enforcement and welcomes the support of other concerned citizens (such as local businesses) who have a stake in the health and safety of the youth in our community.
