Teen Smoking
Makes A Comeback


"Smoking hookah has become a popular activity for many GBHS students."



Though many students don't even realize that
Hookah is tobacco, and many who do, falsely believe that it's "safe" tobacco.

Some local parents (a small minority)
are serving alcohol to other people's children . . .
If you are not one of these parents, please be aware.
If you are one of these . . . PLEASE STOP!
Serving your own children is questionable.
Serving others' is indefensible!



A Grass Valley mother was charged with serving alcohol to minors at a party in her home.  Many of the teens were members of the Bear River High School girls' basketball team, which forfeited the remaining games in their season as a consequence. Details of this incident surfaced following the investigation of another party in Granite Bay attended by some of the same teenagers.
